Launch of Solar Tv
After a successful 2 - years of test marketing, Barefoot launches solar powered TV bundled together with its Connect series of solar home systems. The invaluable lessons, experiences, usage and attitudes continues to inform the domestic appliances strategy.
2016
Barefoot Power enters into a partnership with Kenya Women Microfinance Bank (KWFT) for solar products consumer financing. Barefoot is responsible for product functional responsibility, up-selling and cross-selling and KWFT manages the credit at both the relationship and portfolio levels.

Barefoot Power is selected by European Union to implement Women Increasing Sustainable energy access and use (WISE) in Kenya, Uganda and Sierra Leone: 2018 – 2022
